A statement that "the day is coming, and is not far off, when every Seventh-day Adventist will wish … that he were out of the United States," has been incorrectly attributed
to Ellen G. White. It is part of a sermon by A. T. Jones, published in the
General
Conference Bulletin, April 16, 1901, pages 265, 266.
